Some of our friends join CA course and study with a great enthusiasm and joins coaching classes here and there later it seems to be diluted?

It is a sign of lack of motivation. So No one can motivate you other than yourself. You don’t have a burning desire with yourself, or you are ignorant about your goals.

The time near to exam such persons will wake up and think that there is no time for exam. So clock start ticking when the exam is nearing. The result waiting days will also be run so fast.

You also be so eager to see the result of your exam. The feeling of having failed, especially after having put in a lot of effort, is to simply say, miserable. This is life, dear friend, and one has to accept it.

Failure, like any emergency, could be unexpected. (Expect the unexpected).

We never planned to fail, but it happened. What matters is not how you fall but how quickly you rise and walk.

"One who fears failure limits his activities. Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again".

So the question before you is how starting intelligently again??

You must have a mission statement which is backed up by your values. Mission is nothing but a simple way of your goals. If you set your goal to secure Rank in CA, then, you write it as “towards rank”, preferably a place were you can see this statement at frequent intervals. When you wake up every day, please see this mission statement “towards goal”. This will act as a goal. Gradually your mission statement will be registered in to the brain by frequent reading of your mission statement. I hope these mission statement will be a driving force for better tomorrow.

Even if you had not secured the rank but you can mitigate the failure level if you set a good mission. If your target is good then there is a least probability to fail.

The greatest of learning begins with the smallest of steps a step in the right direction".

Your "mission" statement is the first step in the right direction. Second is your constant effort towards this mission. If you prepared by keeping in your mind your mission, then, you will automatically find some alternative to accomplish your goals also.

Value can be interpreted as achieving your short term goal, say, qualifying as a CA during your long span of life.

Some of the example

Failure to cover the syllabus through reference book or ICAI modules.

Failure to plan and organize your daily study plan and it is ultimately leads to you to personal embarrassment.

Failure to study suggested answers, RTP, Recent amendment in law, Scanners.

Failure to study the portion studied in class and the "daily study plan", systematically and meticulously on a regular basis. ( Revision, keeping notes etc).

Failure on your part to present the answer in a better and effective manner to the examiner.

These are the some of the reason for failure. Think yourself that failure is an opportunity to start intelligently.

Last moment strategy for your november exam..Please look in to this

My dear Students

Some of our friends are going to write November exam and there is virtually 10 to 15 days in front of them.

Please borne in mind that at how well you had prepared, you may be not free from the tension about perfection and completion of the studies. They may be pressured and worried about the days remaining for their examination. These worries will take away your effectiveness and as a result your revision will be poor and poor revision will lead to poor performance in your exam and poor result.

Worries>>Reduce your effectiveness>>Poor revision>>Poor performance>>Poor result.

What is your root cause of poor result?

What is the reason for worries?

i)                   Over concern about the exam

ii)                 Lack of confidence

iii)               Poor preparation and over burden to complete

First two causes are purely related with behavior of the students. It may be reduced by visiting temple or Yoga or meditation. Think positively, you can regain the confidence.

But last reason poor preparation is direct relationship with your goals and mental state. You need to change your mind set.

Finishing touch       Full Attention

These are the last moment before your exam. You may be over worked and may be feel tired. Here you are required to have full concentration and better learning since better preparation only can lead to better presentation in exam. If you are good in preparation you will automatically be good in presentation part also. Some were not able to remember or not able to give focus due to pressure...Leave the pressure..Regain the confidence and think that you can.

Mental preparation

Your mind must be upgraded with the seriousness of the exam and depth of the course, care must be taken to ensure that these two factor must not lead to any tension or pressure that is really harm from the exam point of view.

Give the importance of playing the world cup tournament. If you had practiced well, you will be in else some one will enter in your place. Raise your mind and try to bring all your ability during these last moment or days before  the exam.

What is not impossible will be possible on a later point of time

How, it is due to constant hard effort. Firstly you must require to have a strong believe that you will clear this coming exam and do a right hard work. You must see you will clear the exam.

Stick on Scanners and suggested answers for understanding most relevant area. Make sure that you had done well in this relevant area. (For Final Audit Professional ethics).

Don’t interact with negative people who will eat up your productivity

Don’t mingle with your friends until complete the exam.

Switch off your mobile, remove the sim, be calm.

Don’t use internet, chat.

TIPS FOR CPT STUDENTS




Hello everyone....i got 6th rank in CPT so i thought i should share some of my tips in each subject to you people nd i would be very glad if they can be useful to you people nd i would be very glad if they can be useful to u in any way.......







DONT FOCUS ON JUST MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS







We all the that in CPT only multiple option questions are asked.. and many students focus on solving more and more multiple choice questions nd ignore the subjective questions which are lengthy and they think it’s of no use in CPT exams.....BUT...may be by following this concept u will be able to clear CPT somehow but u wont succeed at IPCC of FINAL level....because CPT is the base nd if u dont have a strong base u cant build a strong building...







Try to solve as many subjective questions as possible bcoz students tend to lose habit of writing long answers nd solving lengthy questions if they focus just on multiple options...







1. ACCOUNTS







If u have a good base of 11th nd 12th std then CPT Accounts wont bother u too much....just stick to the basics because most questions come from the most simple points which sometimes we ignore....again...Accounts is the main subject for a C.A....so if u want to do well at higher levels of the course you should make your base from here onwards...as i mentioned earlier also plz dont go for just multiple choice questions.....solve the most complex questions too nd dont ignore the theory part...







2. BUSINESS LAW-







This is a new subject for you people...nd as i said CPT is the base...try to grab the concept because many questions in the exam wont be directly from the book...you will have to apply your common sense nd u wil be able to answer correctly only if you have the correct concept in mind and trust me this will help a lot at IPCC level...







3.MICRO ECONOMICS-







If you are thorough with 12th std eco...u wont have any problem in micro part...its easy but conceptual...dont try to learn it...just keep the concept and the answer will automatically come to your mind by just applying some common sense......u can keep the concept of graphs in mind and create your own answers...







4.MATHS AND STATISTICS-







Many students tend to leave these 50 marks totally bcoz they form an idea that they wont be able to solve it from the initial stage,,,plz dont do that...you are leaving easy 20-30 marks on offer....







Basic idea of maths is very important to be a C.A.....thats why we see students from Science stream clear CA before the students from Commerce background...so if u are leaving this subject completely u are digging ur own grave,....







In Maths nd Statistics u can easily fetch 20-30 marks coz many topics are very easy..just a sharp brain and basic knowledge of 10th level maths will be sufficient ......u can leave the complex things like calculus nd series if you are not good at maths,,(no need to solve the tough questions from the study material coz u wont get questions of that level from these topics)....last few chapters in statistics can be left if u are short of time...u wont lose more than 1-2 marks...







5. MACRO ECONOMICS-







Macro part is complete theory nd u will have to learn it somehow...(ratta mar lo aur koi chara nahi hai..)...Its boring but 25 marks come from there....just learn it somehow....nothing can be done about it.....learn the dates even coz u get questions from there too...scanner will be very helpful....dont learn data of each and every year given..LEARN ONLY THE LATEST DATA AVAILABLE...







Lastly go for a scanner for all subjects (suchitra prakashan is the best)....u will get a fair idea of importance of each chapter in the exams....







AT THE EXAM HALL











the outcome of all your hard work depends on how well you utilise your 4 hours in the exam hall...please reach the exam hall on time and be equipped with all the required material...last minute hustle-bustle can have an adverse impact on your preparations....utilize each and every minute given to you...try to solve easy ones first...dont waste time if u are not able to solve any question...go ahead further nd come back to all questions you have left when you have finished the easy ones...this will give you confidence .....











PLEASE DONT TRY TO MATCH YOUR ANSWERS WITH YOUR NEIGHBOURS..its a crime nd if caught your dream of becoming a CA will be finished then and there...and even if you are not caught you might end up cancelling your correct answer and copying the wrong one from your neighbour...(EXAM HALL ME KOI KISI KA FRIEND NAHI HOTA..SO DONT TRUST ANYONE)...have confidence on yourself......be calm...its a professional exam..you are bound to get trick questions...be focussed and dont get nervous....

Few words to those who writing CA November exam

Dear Friends and Members,

 

There is two more months for November examination.  Even if you had not done your preparation well also have possibility to clear your forthcoming November exam. Need to utilise the remaining time in a best possible manner.

 

Think passing or getting a rank in your CA exam is still also possible. For that destiny, your preparation, dedication for studies for 2 months and a good smart and hard work is required. If you are doing the right way, then success is yours.  Nothing is impossible.

 

Give your mind a positive impact and importance of CA exam just like an Olympic game. Hard practise if you put in to force now, this moment onwards then who will prevent you for the success of this time. But only you need to arise according to the opportunity at your disposal, because opportunity will knock only first time and same opportunity will never be knocked.

 

 

·        Frame a good time table first. Does not matter even if your preparation is in one way and time table is in other way.

 

·        Take difficult subject in the best time and easy subject in your most exhausted time.

·        Give more time for a difficult subject and adequate time for the remaining subject.

·        Try to cover all the subject prop*rnatly rather than covering some subject or one subject since this practise will kill your interest towards studies and your studies become boring.

·        Obtain the scanners and suggested answers for understanding the pattern of questions.

·        Within each subject classify each chapter as most important, important and least important according to the weightage in the exam. Give focus and concentration accordingly.

·        Never be selective , must cover all the chapters irrespective of its relevant or important since it is a professional exam and you cant predict from where and how the questions will be set in the exam.

·        Never try to mug up or by heart method, rather understand the concepts and logics, so that your studies shall be so interesting.

·         Avoid the method that you had succeeded in graduate level or post graduate level. Try different method of studies.

·        Give a good weightage for revision else what ever you had learned will be lost and which will result to poor presentation and bad result.

·        Try to frame Group studies for problems papers (MAFA, Accounts) if you can.

·        You can follow the materials along with one good reference book. Some of the subject you need to refer Reference book( Income Tax) and some cases module is best ( Infotech and SM)

·        Adopt different method of studies for problems and theory. Adopt different study strategy for each of the theory and problems paper. Your strategy must be differing according to the subject and according to the difficult level.

·        Example for costing, get a grip over concepts and apply the concepts over the practical problems. There may be so many slippery points with this area. For Income tax, read the provision, get a clear picture over the provisions and try to solve the problems with a clear vision of provisions Etc.

·        Make your short term goals such as Clearing both or single group and fix a contribution over each and every individual paper. But minimum contribution from one paper shall not beyond 50 marks. This means you need to fix a target which is not below 50 marks. Give 10 more additional contribution to the easy subject of yours.

·        Make a habit of making a good study notes for theory subject. Notes preparation is not an easy exercise. It requires some skills such as extracting the required details and document in a manner that you can retrieve the same in any later point of time.

·        Keep away negative people and negative environments. This has an adverse impact on your studies.

·        Try for a mnemonic method (Abbreviation method) of studies for heading and sub heading.

·        Try to find out a good time for your studies. Your working hours shall be productive, and then only you can achieve your ultimate destiny. Try for a 15 productive hours, in that process you can achieve at least 8 to 10 productive hours.

·        Best preparation and poor presentation in the exam may cause failure. Try to present the answer in the way of relevant points and  sub point wise rather than an essay type presentation.

·        Give your mind a positive impact and importance of CA exam just like an Olympic game. Hard practise if you put in to force now , this moment onwards then who will prevent you for the success of this time

Be positive your November exam is approaching

Dear friends and members

How you can success the forthcoming exam?  Please borne in mind that better be late than never.  This means even if you not did your studies well till this moment and start studies even today have also the chance of success.

Give the positive feed back to the brain ..YOU CAN

 Are you willing for a good hard work today onwards?  If the answer is yes, then, start it now onwards. Give a positive feed back to your brain that you can clear and you are going to clear, that will automatically create a lot of powerful positive energy. Don’t mind even if you had failed just now or many attempts.

Regain your Confidence

When you fail, it will automatically diminish your confidence. If you continue to fail even after your good hard work also have the effect of loosing the confidence.  Here you first regain your confidence first.  Identify the reason for failure and try to find out a way for coming out of your problems. Please understand that it is a psychological only. But Change your focus from failure to for coming success and be think positively and do a good hard and smart work plan. Only the confidence is the key.

Framing a study schedule and stick on it

Make a formal study plan now onwards; fix a time table for various subjects and  try to adhere to the schedule.

Understand the pattern and relevant chapters with the help of scanners and suggested answers But never ever do a selective studies on that basis.

Effective study

Understand the logics, concepts, (Pros and cons)of every  subject.  Then try to make good notes then try to reproduce by referring to your notes and a quick revision on the same day. Please do the same for relevant area at least. But keep a good goal for clearing your exam.  The goal is your destination and you will find many means for reaching your destination

Take very tough subject in your good time and an easy subject for your non productive time. Pay more attention to weaker subject or weaker topics.

Revision>> Retention for exam>>better presentation for exam

Give more weight ages for revision. You need to retain whatever you had learned  up to the date of your exam. Only the effective learning will help you to retain the information over a long period of time. What is effective learning?  Understand the pros and cons with good clarity and quick revision of the same.  So do more quick revision that is only the solution.
